Current Opportunities

Brewery Ambassador – FULL TIME

The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Brewery Ambassador who can help get the word out about us and our range of delicious beers. This is an entry level role, so we’re after someone keen to learn and grow in the job. You will be working alongside our Sales Manager. We need someone confident and outgoing who can represent us boldly and proudly, make great trade connections, build strong relationships with pub and bar staff and champion us at events. This is a great opportunity for a good communicator interested in an exciting career with a growing company whose mission is to put Brixton on the map for great beer.

Essential skills & qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about great beer
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent networking skills and industry knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel around London and region spreading the word about our beers, sometimes outside of regular work hours
  • Computer skills – MS Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Great to have:

  • Previous experience working in a brewery or in the drinks industry
  • Experience planning and managing events, beer tastings and information sessions for our customers and prospective customers
  • A full, clean UK driving license

Key Tasks:

This role is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our growing team and help us bring our beers to new drinkers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Sales Manager to meet ambitious growth targets
  • Managing existing customer relationships, planning events and activity with customers to help get our beer in to the hands of more and more people
  • Understanding customer needs and helping them to grow sales in their beer category
  • Being creative and inventing new ways to engage with staff members and customers
  • Being an excellent and articulate public representative of Brixton Brewery
  • Gathering industry information on key trends, customer demand, etc and reporting back to brewery founders
  • Accurate and timely reporting to management

Graphic Designer – FULL or PART TIME

The role:

We are known for our colourful and design-led branding. We’re looking for a dedicated in-house Graphic Designer to help us build on our reputation for amazing visual communications in everything that we put out there – from beer labels to merchandise. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, visionary creative designer to really help us craft the look of our brand.

Key Duties

While there is lots of opportunity to shape the role, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with our management team to produce visual materials including beer labels and graphics, social media posts and merchandise designs;
  • Work as liaison with our branding agency to continue and build on their design and brand guidelines;
  • Produce graphics and design for a variety of other purposes, including special events and campaigns, our tap room, and for internal and external communications;
  • Help us refresh and maintain graphics for our website;
  • Manage and coordinate photography as needed;
  • Be pro-active and have a strong creative vision for helping us build the design element of our brand.

Essential skills and qualifications 

  • Degree in design and visual communications program
  • A talented, versatile designer with 3+ years’ progressively more challenging experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a food or drinks brand;
  • Technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs, as well as Office programs such as PowerPoint & Word;
  • Excellent visual skills and branding vision;
  • Experience in preparing artwork for print and production
  • Layout and typography skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team;
  • Willingness to build on established elements of our brand, while seeking to improve and find new ways of creative communication;
  • Experience liaising with branding and production agencies to see projects through to completion;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills;
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Nice to have:

  • Digital photography ability, including filming and editing proficiency, and experience using Premiere Pro and Lightroom;
  • Experience designing or building the visual element of websites;
  • Experience in the hospitality industry;
  • An interest in craft beer or local knowledge of Brixton

Sales Account Manager – FULL TIME

The Role:

We  are  looking  for  an  enthusiastic  and  dynamic Sales Account Manager  who  will be responsible for winning new business opportunities for us to pour our range of delicious beers and manage a large number of existing loyal customers.    You  will  be joining our growing sales team and reporting to our Sales  Manager.

The successful candidate should have excellent knowledge of the London on and off trade market, a passion for great beer and a proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets. This is a brilliant opportunity  for  a  results-driven,  highly-motivated  candidate  interested  in  an  exciting career  with  a  growing  company  whose  mission  is  to  put  Brixton  on  the  map  for  great  beer.

KEY TASKS:
